Brief Description:  Flight #41, 5B6-GHG-5B6, 1:11

Went on a short flight overflying Marshfield, MA, GHG. Had about 12,000 ft overcast, but had snow showers about 2 hours after I landed. Weather for the next week doesn't look good, lots of rain, wind and possible snow in the forecast.

KFMH: 080/08 V8 clear 0c/-8c 30.61 DA -2050'. Fuel used ~4.4 gallons, ~3.7GPH. Mixture was full rich most of the flight, perhaps because of the high air density needing more fuel and/or lower fuel flow because I had less than 1/2 tank of fuel resulting in a lower head pressure.

Total tac time is now 49.8 hours so I will be doing the 50 hour service on the engine during the week.

I usually have three devices running that generate four GPS files. (1) My APRS system transmits my position about every minute and it is posted to the net if a ground station picks up my broadcast. (2) I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 on my kneeboard running the free app "AVARE" which logs the fixes and emails me a .kml file at the end of the flight. (3) Also running on the tablet is CloudAhoy which posts the fixes to their site when the tablet gets an internet connection. The tablet has a built in GPS but I am using an external DUAL 150 gps with a bluetooth connection for better accuracy. (4) My panel mounted AV8OR logs a .kml and text file that I can download through a computer USB conection. Data from the three devices are shown in the images.
